The aim of the EIC Bereavement Support Scheme is to reduce the financial burden on a deceased member’s relations by providing a contributory Membership Scheme where Members collectively pay towards the costs of funeral arrangements and burials of their fellow Members in an Oldham Council Cemetery as well as some other specific scenarios.

Over 200 children attend the EIC Evening School on a daily basis. Our aim is to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the main tenants of Islam in a fun and friendly environment.
We engage with our youth through various activities during our youth club. They participate in our annual youth camp and other outdoor activities. We also run a Karate club.
Every year we invite our non muslim friends, neighbours, colleagues to share food with during the holy month of Ramadan.
We run mosque tours all year around for schools, scout groups and anyone who wishes to see how a mosque functions and understand the role it plays in the community.
We have put together many exhibitions for our guests during different times of the year, during open days and our annual school visits week.
We at the EIC see it as an honour to facilitate this blessed of union of two souls. Nikah ceremonies can be conducted on site at the mosque or our Imam can conduct the nikah at a venue of your choice.
For the past 3 years the EIC has been running a food hub every fortnight for those in need within our community. We also provide a signposting service to help the vulnerable.
We have a number of rooms available to hire for meetings, seminars and other small gatherings.
