Course Introduction
The aim of the EIC Madrasah is to provide children and young people with a strong foundation in Islamic education alongside their mainstream schooling. The madrasah aims to nurture faith (iman), good character (akhlaq), and Islamic identity, helping students understand and practise Islam confidently and responsibly in their daily lives.
The EIC Madrasah offers a structured learning programme held at the EIC after school hours. It provides a safe, supportive, and disciplined environment where students receive age-appropriate Islamic education delivered by dedicated and caring teachers.

Assessment
At the EIC Madrasah, assessment plays an important role in supporting each child’s learning and development. Teachers regularly monitor progress through participation, recitation, memorisation, revision, and classroom activities.
Students also sit a yearly examination covering all subjects studied throughout the academic year to help measure their development and understanding.
Parent Involvement
Parents are encouraged to remain actively involved in their child’s learning journey and can discuss progress during parents’ evenings or by arranging a meeting with the Head Teacher. While teachers play an important role in educating and guiding students, parents also have a shared responsibility to give time, encouragement, and support at home to help reinforce learning and good character.

Our teachers are experienced, approachable, and dedicated to the development of every child with an emphasis on spiritual, moral, and academic growth. All teachers are DBS vetted, and small class sizes allow for meaningful interaction and consistent progress tracking.

Classes run Monday to Thursday from 4:20pm to 5.50pm or 6pm to 7:20pm

Lessons are interactive, student-centred, and tailored to different learning styles. Students are taught in small groups to ensure individual attention and effective learning.

Yes. All teachers are experienced, DBS-checked, and committed to supporting students’ academic, moral, and spiritual development.

Students should bring their Qur’an, notebooks, and any learning materials provided by the madrasah. Further guidance will be shared upon enrolment.
No prior knowledge is required. Students are placed according to their level, and teaching is adapted to support beginners as well as more advanced learners.
