A Welcoming Space for Learning
The aim of the reminders is to provide welcoming and beneficial learning opportunities for members of the public within the masjid environment after the daily prayers, helping individuals strengthen their understanding of Islam, improve personal practice, and develop a stronger connection with the Qur’an and Sunnah. These reminders aim to create an open and accessible space where people of all ages and backgrounds can learn, reflect, and grow together in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Learning Through a Variety of Topics
The reminders consist of a variety of regular educational and spiritual sessions delivered at the masjid after the daily prayers, covering important Islamic topics including Qur’an recitation, Tajweed, Hadith studies, character development, Islamic manners (akhlaq), daily worship, and practical guidance for everyday life. Talks are designed to be clear, engaging, and accessible to both beginners and those with existing knowledge.
Connecting with the Qur’an and Sunnah
Particular emphasis is placed on learning the Qur’an with care and reflection, understanding the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through authentic hadith, and applying Islamic values practically in daily interactions and behaviour. The environment is intentionally welcoming, respectful, and free from pressure, allowing attendees to participate comfortably and benefit at their own pace.
